The theme of Tirana Design Week (TDW) this year was Foreseeing Uncertainty: Design and Non-Normativity, tackling thus the issue of endurance of design. Tirana is a very inclusive city in terms of design and not only. Close to its 100th anniversary as the capital of Albania, this design week tries to depicts what constitutes the norm in a world  continuously oscillating between what is desired or imagined as an endogenous equilibrium and exogenous menaces. The objective of TDW is to draw resarch on the topic of uncertainty and non-normativity in all aspects and contexts found in the city of Tirana, the epitome of which has been disposition.
